HIA Redress Board - Notice of Closure of the HIA Redress Board Online Application Portal

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  The HIA Redress Board stopped accepting new applications from 3 April 2025 in accordance with Section 5(2) of the Historical Institutional Abuse (NI) Act 2019. The HIA Redress Board has now determined all applications submitted to it.   

Preparations for the closure of the HIA Redress Board are now underway.  Please also note that the Online Application Portal is no longer available for use. 

The HIA Redress Board recommends that if you have any outstanding matters regarding applications you have submitted to the Board, including the payment of fees or expenses you should ensure they are now completed
